Eleven awards will be presented and filmmakers will have the opportunity to make acceptance speeches before fellow filmmakers, celebrity guests, film industry professionals and the general public.

We will also present the prestigious 2002 Back East Lifetime Achievement Award to veteran actor Frank Vincent. This award is presented to an actor who has shown excellence in film, serves as an inspiration to aspiring filmmakers and has an affiliation Back East in New York or New Jersey.

Recognized as one of the industry's most well respected and versatile actors, we’ll celebrate Vincent’s eclectic career in films such as Goodfellas, Casino, and Do the Right Thing. Actor Vincent Pastore (“Big Pussy” of The Sopranos) and Director Mike Corrente (Federal Hill, American Buffalo) will join us in honoring their colleague and friend. Other invited guests include producers, actors and directors whom Mr. Vincent has worked with throughout his illustrious career.

The Liberty House plays host to this year’s Gala located at the foot of Liberty State Park with magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline. Boasting 35 foot cathedral ceilings, wrap around terrace and an outdoor garden, this event should not be missed!
